HIV workplace policy
By setting up regulations on HIV/AIDS in the workplace, employers can publicise their social commitment both internally and externally, and demonstrate that their company is a progressive, open-minded and socially responsible employer. This commitment will score points for the company when evaluated as to its social commitment according to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
In addition to providing a template for protective regulations concerning the discrimination at the workplace based on HIV/AIDS and other chronic diseases, the brochure “HIV workplace policy” contains basic medical and legal information about HIV/AIDS as well as guidelines for setting up such a policy and the necessary related steps.
